We are living in exciting times. As we deepen our relationship with our own existence and the natural world, we begin experiencing ourselves as equal parts of the intricate web of life. Forest Therapy helps us remember our ancient connection with the Earth and ignite our sense of responsibility and guardianship for our environment.
We say that the forest is the therapist, and the guide opens the doors.. Research shows how spending time in the forest in a sensory way strengthens our immune system and helps us relax and rest in the present moment.
To me, forest therapy has become my favourite offering to my local and global community. I have a deep calling to support people to connect to their inner and outer nature - to guiding our way back home.. I usually charge 22$ per person for 2-hour virtual walks, and welcome donations via paypal.me/norwegiansage.
The walks will be guided on Zoom, and you can join from anywhere in the world. You can find an updated calendar on my facebook page, Norwegian Sage.
I will leave my camera on during the walk, so you can follow my screen if you are not able to be in nature yourself. If you have access to a forest, it could be nice to choose an area or favourite spot where you can feel safe and at peace for a few hours.
The walks are offered in English or Norwegian depending on the participants. For now, I have a maximum of 12 people in each walk, so you can experience more intimate circles. During the walk, I will be sharing a series of invitations to open the sensory connecting to the natural realm. Between the invitations, we meet for sharing our experience of the present moment. It is great if you keep your camera on, as it creates a bond of communion with the other participants. I also recommend using headphones, so you can listen to the sounds of nature while tuning into my voice.
Detailed instructions will be sent when you sign up to the walk.
..By engaging in this practice, you are also participating in the healing of the land…
