Forest therapy is branch of eco-therapy, known to scientifically improve human health and our connection with the natural world. To me , forest therapy has been a powerful tool for integration and grounding while navigating the fluctuating waters of our human experience.
The practice enables a gentle, mindful experience in nature, where you are subtly guided through a series of sensory invitations enabling you to connect, in the present moment, to your inner self and your natural surroundings. Inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku (translates to ‘forest bathing’), this is a powerful way to relax and unwind - and is known to have deep benefits for whole-system health and wellbeing.
The practice of forest therapy can also inspire you see your own region and forests with new eyes. I would love to take you on a personalised walk or organize a weekend-retreat in your area!
Everything depends on remembering that human lives are rooted in deep relationship with nature.
Forest Therapy helps us remember.

Send me an email to request a quote for your guided wander in the Norwegian woods. The walks are based in close proximity to Oslo, and are easily accessible with public transport. I facilitate sessions for individuals, groups of up to twenty people, and corporate teams.
I also give one-to-one pathfinding sessions, hold rites of passage and transitional ceremonies, facilitate women’s circles and create guided medicine walks. If this sparks your curiosity, read more here.
Forest Therapy can also be practiced from virtual platforms so you can bring the experience to your local ecology!
