We have the pleasure of inviting you to a full week of Sound Medicine with Githa Ben-David in the wild nature of Dharma Mountain, Hedalen, Norway from August 9th to 16th, 2020. This is a training for people who with to be trained as therapists in vocal sound therapy.
The Method
There are no two similar voices on Earth. Each voice brings a certain quality and gift. This education is based Githa Ben David’s devotion to sound and vibration as medicine, which you can read more about in her book ‘The Note from Heaven’. The training gives students the opportunity to open up their voices and reconnect with their true nature and essence. The goal of the training is for the students to recover their own healing qualities for the benefit of themselves and others, by releasing their true expression.
The foundation for the education is based on Githa’s 33 years of practical healing work, and the experiences that her course participants/sound healing groups/former education groups continuously contribute with.
The education in The Note from Heaven is based on modules of 7-day courses with a maximum of 25 participants per course. Each week course has the same basic structure adapted to the needs and levels of the participants. You can sign up for one week course at a time, so you can schedule yourself how fast you want to get the education. After a minimum of four week courses you can choose to take an examination.
The training will be conducted in English.

The Venue - Dharma Mountain
The retreat is held in beautiful Dharma Mountain Meditation and Freedom Resort, in Hedalen, Norway. The centre was founded by the mystic Vasant Swaha in 2000, envisioning a place for people to reconnect with their inner peace, to find their true potential as a human being on a physical, emotional and spiritual level. Resting in the midst of meadows, forestland, a small lake, and a beautiful river, it offers its inhabitants a chance to find a private corner of the land to breathe deeply and discover the natural beauty of Norway. Participants will live in shared wood cabins (two people per cabin) and have access to wide landscapes of wild nature, forests, rivers and a sauna.
The course fee includes nourishing vegetarian lunch and dinner. There is a small kitchen in the cabin where you can prepare your own breakfast. Dharma Mountain can accommodate gluten free, lactose/milk free, vegan and vegetarian options. If you have other allergies, please be prepared to bring some of your own food supplies. Participants should inform Dharma Mountain of their dietary needs when they make reservations, and no later than 10 days before the training begins. There is also a small grocery store within 10 minutes from the location.
It takes approximately two hours from Oslo to drive to Dharma Mountain. You can look for instructions on how to get there through bus/train on their website here: http://dharmamountain.com/locationn/.
