Plantronika, Poetry & Ambience @ Oslo Fjordhage.

At Sukkerbiten there is a strange building laying on land. It's a floating dome which contains a small urban garden with vegetables hanging from the roof.

On Friday the 17th we will open the dome for an intimate concert with 25 spots for a deep connection experience with the plants.

With a device called the MIDI Sprout we can measure changes in the electrical currents which run across the surface of the leaves of plants, and convert these fluctuations into notes. These electromagnetic frequencies will be our common ground for the evening.

Norwegian Sage will read her poetry, accompanied with the frequencies from the plants and field recordings from around Sukkerbiten, Bjørvika and the Opera. 

Organic Structure will continue with a live show, based on the same plant frequencies, but with even more elements implemented.

Nikolai Kaasa Art will do a live painting performance inspired by the atmosphere. The painting will be possible to purchase for the highest bid.

We will also make a fire outside and serve some easy drinks.

The program starts at 19:00 and last until 23..00
