“Go and sweep the chamber of your heart. Prepare it for dwelling in the above of the Beloved one. As you go, He will come. In you, emptied of yourself, He will unfold His beauty.” 〜 Mahmud Shabistari, Rose Garden of Mystery (13 century).
What will the consequences be for your life if you dare to step into the field of the your higher self and unity consciousness? As seven days of sound medicine with Githa Ben-David came to an end, we gathered in ceremony with the natural elements to honour the work that had been completed at Dharma Mountain.
The feeling of ‘singing yourself’ is described by many of the world’s mystics - a state where the voice sings you, rather than you singing the voice. The feeling of time disappears and your voice descends from above and resonates down into and through the singers body. The goal of the training was for the students to recover their own true voice for the benefit of themselves and others, by releasing their true expression - and from here continue the journey of becoming sound therapists and empowered sources of healing.
Githa Ben-David teaches the ancient art and science of regressive cell-singing, one of the most direct ways to get in contact with the subconscious mind, aiming to release blocked energy imprisoned in the singer’s body as trauma. What is sought is a state free from any motive of achievement, a state where the ego steps aside and the soul soars in song. With each release of stagnant patterns of thought and mind, we come closer to our true nature and essence.
It is a deep honour to witness the opening of voices and releasing of essen(c)e in the men and women present ~ blended with my own practice of forest therapy for deep contemplation and integration.
Githa Ben-David is one of the world's most recognized sound therapists, with more than 33 years of practical experience. With a background in classical saxophone from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Copenhagen and 6 years studies of classical Indian khyal singing with Mangala Tawari in India, she has developed her own sound therapeutic system, The Note from Heaven.
The course covered an extensive range of topics, and was supported by ecotherapy practices and nature connection in the breathtaking natural ecology of Hedalen. Follow Gilalai Norge and Norwegian Sage for more information about upcoming courses and gatherings from Gilalai Institute for Energy and Consciousness in Norway.
Hung Song - Heal The Pineal
The training also introduced Githa’s new book, ‘Heal the Pineal’, where she explains how you can decalcify your pineal gland using the ‘ancient technology’ of your own voice.
At all times, man has used sound for therapeutic purposes, from the Australian Aboriginal's 'Songlines' to today's more pragmatic ultrasound therapy. For over 33 years, Githa has been researching the possibilities of the human voice as a therapeutic tool, and experience from this clearly shows that what sets the human voice above any other form of sound stimulation is its ability to be sensitive and intuitive.
With 'Heal the Pineal', Githa Ben-David bridges the gap between the natural sciences and the spiritual sciences, recognizing that when the two become One, humanity can take a new and decisive step on the path of evolution.
